We want YOU to be a book reveiwer! You do NOT need to be a Reading Club member to submit book reviews for this blog.

Please type or NEATLY print your review and turn it in to Mrs. Mittelstedt in room 22 or email it to Jolene.Mittelstedt@k12.sd.us

You will see your review on the reading club website within 1-2 weeks after submitting it.

Please include the following in your review:

*BOOK TITLE AND AUTHOR
*Review by (Your first and last name)
Note: Only your first name and last initial will appear online
*Grade _____

*SUMMARY
Summarize the book. Don’t give away any major plot twists or surprises! Use the summaries written on the backs of books as examples only–do not copy them! Use your own words to tell a BRIEF synopsis of the book. Don’t give away too much information–this is just to let people know what the book is about.

*REACTION/RECOMMENDATION
Give your reactions to the book. Tell why you liked the book, how it made you feel, why it was good or bad, etc. Tell why you think other middle school students would like to read this book. Again, don’t give away too much information about the book.

You should keep your review to 2-3 paragraphs at the most; anything longer, and most students will not read it.
